Summary
The author presents a combination of these technologies, called Dual Source and Dual Coil. Dual Source refers to the use of both air and geothermal sources for the condensing process in the cooling mode, and the evaporating process in the heating mode. The Dual Coil evaporator technology places the warm regions of the evaporator in front of the cold regions. A recent application of the technology was the retrofit installation in a post office.
