Summary

THIS PAPER PROPOSES EQUILIBRIUM AND ENTHALPY CONCENTRATION EQUATIONS BY MEANS OF A REGRESSION ANALYSIS BASED ON THE MEASURED PROPERTIES OF AN AQUEOUS LITHIUM BROMIDE SOLUTION. FROM THE CALCULATION OF SOME EXAMPLES, THIS METHOD COMPARES WITH MANUAL COMPUTATION FROM A DIAGRAM AND IS FASTER AND MORE ACCURATE. IN ADDITION, THE HEAT SOURCE TEMPERATURE WHICH IS APPLICABLE FOR AN ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION MACHINE IS ALSO DISCUSSED.
