Summary

The article analyzes usual methods for calculating cooling load and air temperature. Two characteristic parameters are proposed for evaluating the thermal capacity and thermal behaviour of a room. These parameters can also be used during planning to define with the architects the consequences of construction technologies on ambient temperature and on ventilating and air-conditioning plants. The results obtained in comparative calculations confirm the argumentation proposed.
