Summary
A procedure for the calculation of the efficiency of cross-flow plate heat exchangers is presented which makes it possible to take into account the influence of condensation (the process with phase transition). The system of differential equations describing heat exchange is solved by numerical methods. An example of a calculation applied to a particular heat exchanger is given.
