Summary
In this paper the mathematical equations for the stationary calculation of the mass flow distribution and the pressure drop in a network with a tree structure are presented. For the organisation of the calculation data as well as the information about the network structure the graph theory is used. The highest possible flexibility for the definition of the network as well as the simple and compressed possibility to store information about connections and flow directions is ensured. An example of an air-conditioning network shows the efficiency of the programme.
