Summary

The third part of this European standard (also see this Bulletin, 2004-2063, 2004-2064) describes a procedure to determine the final thermal capacity and the average surface temperature. The ceiling-mounted radiant panels primarily exchange their energy through radiation. The test methods for determining the thermal power of a radiant ceiling panel, described in Part 2 of this European standard, provide reliable results for the comparison of various products, but these results minimize the capacity obtained under real conditions of use.
