Summary
Double-effect cycles have received much attention recently because of their high efficiency, particularly in light of the current preoccupation with energy savings and with recent environmental problems. Simulation studies were performed on the water-lithium bromide pair. The efficiency of the different cycles was studied, and the simulation results show that higher COPs could be obtained for standard parallel cycles.
