Summary

THESE TWO CYCLES WERE STUDIED FOR THE EFFECT OF RECOVERING WASTE HEAT AT THE CONDENSER FOR HEATING THE WATER SOLUTION OF THE LITHIUM BROMIDE BEFORE THE GENERATOR, WITH DIFFERENT DESIGNS USED. NUMERICAL CORRELATIONS ARE PROPOSED FOR CALCULATING OPERATING TEMPERATURES AND THE COP FOR THE TWO CYCLES IN DIFFERENT CONDITIONS. OPERATING TEMPERATURES WERE COMPARED IN HIGH-AND LOW-PRESSURE GENERATORS ; THE PERFORMANCES OF THE TWO CYCLES WERE COMPARED. (PASCAL, Bibliogr. int., ENERG., FR., 230, N 1, 1991, 329.
