Summary

10 kA conventional type helium vapour cooled current leads have been designed, developed and tested for ramp rates of 10 A/s to 3 kA/s under long pulse operational mode. A dedicated test bench was developed for this test with appropriate instrumentation, control and data acquisition system. This paper discusses the design, test bench and test results of current leads.
