Summary

SEVERAL METHODS OF CALCULATING THE PERIODIC COOLING AND HEATING LOAD IN BUILDINGS, ESPECIALLY THE SO-CALLED ARE USED WIDELY TO ESTIMATE THE RUNNING COST OF HEAT SOURCES. IN THIS STUDY, THE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES INCLUDING THE INSULATION AND INTERNAL COOLING LOADS WERE SUMMED UP MONTHLY ON THE BASIS OF THE . THE RESULTS SHOW THAT FOR EXTERIOR WALLS WITHOUT ANY HEAT INSULATION, THE ABOVE METHOD OF ESTIMATING THE COOLING AND HEATING LOAD AGREES TO WITHIN 5% OF A COMPUTED ESTIMATE.
