Chemical and biological evaluation of building material emissions. 3. Screening of a low-emitting fibrous acoustic insulation material.
Author(s) : NIELSEN G. D., HAMMER M., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The article describes the examination of a fibrous acoustic insulation material for the emission of chemicals and for odorous properties and irritation of nose and throat and sensory irritation of the upper airways. The results suggest that the effect of other low emitting materials on indoor air may be estimated from the combination of simple chemical, human and animal screening tests.
