Summary

Looks briefly at three of the newer and avant garde remedies for making buildings healthier: 1) the use of catalytic converters for cleaning up polluted air in buildings. The panel in which they are incorporated is claimed to remove up to 85 different pollutants and to last between two and six years; 2) the use of indoor plants to absorb airborne contaminants. Notes a special container and mix of plants which soaks up 50 time more pollutants than the plants on their own. It is claimed that the plants can absorb 70% of pollutants from the air within 24 hours; 3) hanging strategically placed metal plates, mirrors and crystal balls in offices to disperse geopathic stress, claimed to be a grossly overlooked cause of some ill health in some buildings.
