Chemical dehumidification: theory and practice.
La deumidificazione chimica fra teoria e pratica.
Author(s) : LAZZARIN R.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The basic principles of chemical dehumidification are summarized, analysing the energy features regarding the processes of dehumidification and regeneration of desiccants. Some possible applications are described, stressing the achievable benefits in terms of energy savings in comparison with traditional dehumidification by cooling. The article illustrates some commercially available equipment.
