Summary
The paper describes the author's experiences in the lead-up to the choice of a plastic diaphragm arrangement as an integral part of a water thermal storage cooling system, and operational problems which were subsequently encountered. It then describes the development, testing and application of a viable stratification alternative, used to refit a previous diaphragm system.
