Summary

CRYOSURGERY CAN PRODUCE AUTOIMMUNITY AGAINST VULVAL PAPILLOMA. FOUR PATIENTS WHO SUFFERED PAPILLOMA IN THE VAGINAL MUCOUS MEMBRANE RECOVERED WITH CRYOSURGERY. NO PAPILLOMA WAS FOUND IN VAGINAL MUCOUS MEMBRANE UPON RE-EXAMINATION. AFTER OPERATIONAL OR ELECTROCOAGULATIONAL REMOVAL GIANT VERRUCA ACUMINATA REMAINS OPERATING SCAR. THIS NONCOMPENSATORY DISADVANTAGE CAN BE OVERCOME BY CRYOSURGERY. CRYOSURGERY CURATIVE EFFECT IS BEST BECAUSE OF HIGH RECOVERY (87.5%) AND IMPROVEMENT (12.5%) RATES, WITHOUT SIDE EFFECTS.
