Summary
Temperatures in the range 0 to 12 deg C are necessary for cut flowers and cuttings to ensure maintenance of quality for periods of 1 to 3 days. Refrigeration is also necessary for long distance transport. There are a number of factors which affect the quality of stored flowers, cuttings and potted plants. The effect of these and other quality treatments are discussed.
