Combined heat power plant for the gasification of LNG.
Type of article: Article
Summary
By using a combination of a gas turbine driven power generation with a direct contact heat exchanger applied to LNG gasification, a rational use of energy is realised. The heat of the exhaust gases is transferred to the water by direct contact inside the heat recovery unit, resulting in extremely efficient use of exhaust heat (100% on higher heating value) and a lower investment cost due to the fact that no heat exchanger is required.
