Compact heat exchangers liquid-side fouling.
Author(s) : GRILLOT J. M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The principal objective of this project was to define the conditions in which compact heat exchangers could be used with liquids giving deposits. The problem was dealt with by phenomenological approaches in generic studies which were intended to isolate a particular phenomenon in order to model it and by in situ experiments. In the area of design, mitigation and prevention, some specific studies concerning, for example, the development and use of monitors have shown good progress.
