Comparative study for selecting the most efficient method for refrigerant recycling in refrigerating compression systems.
Author(s) : HERA D., DRUGHEAN L.
Summary
The selection of refrigerant recycling methods depends on a large number of variables; the refrigerant recycling can be done in the liquid or vapour phase, this representing another selection criterion for the recycling method to be used. This paper reports on comparative experimental results obtained in the laboratory on two different refrigeration systems, namely: a small-capacity domestic refrigeration system of about 225 W and a medium-capacity commercial refrigeration system of about 5 kW. The comparative experimental results refer to the general behaviour of the recycled system based on the aforementioned criteria.
