Summary

The design and operation of a test rig for compressors of domestic refrigerators are described. This test rig makes it possible to control: the swept volume when operating with air, the absorbed power, the temperature of the engine windings, the electrical resistance of the compressor insulation, the capacity to operate during voltage variations in the electrical circuit, the starting time of the compressor during voltage variations at the electrical terminals of the starting and protection relay. The number of compressors controlled is 180 per hour, the starting time is from 0,1 to 1,0 s, the swept volume is from 0 to 10 dm3/min, the absorbed power from 0 to 500 watts. C.C.
