Compressor oil in NH3 installations: from mineral to synthetic?
Compressorolie in NH3-installaties: van mineraal naar synthetisch?
Author(s) : BERENDS E.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Oil separators in NH3 installations only separate oil drops. The portion of the oil that vaporizes enters the system. Choosing compressor oil is therefore not easy. Several choices have to be considered and a good insight into the properties of oil is required. The importance of oil in a cooling system must not be underestimated. Maintaining the system is impossible without good oil.
