Summary

The paper presents an improved method for designing twin-rotor screw refrigerant compressors. It can be used to calculate the profiles, the meshed line and contact line, the brow-hole area, the profile of the milling cutter, the pressure distribution diagram, the suction and discharge ports, and the applied forces etc. This method is simpler than the regular design method, and the results are more accurate and reliable.
