Summary
What are considered basic guidelines in some countries are not officially recognized in Switzerland, except in the canton of Geneva. For example, new federal directives allow an air renewal rate of 0.5 volumes per hour, but recommend, as part of the "Energie 2000" project, that the minimum required rate be lowered to 0.3.
