Summary
In order to secure a trouble-free and energy efficient operation under all loading conditions, plants and installations for dry expansion have to fulfill certain requirements. In the control system consisting of expansion valve, refrigerant distributor and evaporator, the influence of the heat exchanger principle and the evaporator load is as important as the refrigerant distribution, the degree of subcooling and the oil return.
