Construction products and indoor air quality regulation, standards and assessment methods in Europe.
Author(s) : COCHET C.
Summary
The implementation of the Construction Products Directive, through harmonised standards, will give specifications on a mandatory basis, for all buildings products placed on the market. Such harmonised standards are to be developed by CEN in the near future. Voluntary labelling is also expected to generate information on products of interest to industry and purchasers, particularly concerning the emission of pollutants to indoor air.
