NOTES THE INCREASING INTRODUCTION OF THE RELATIVELY COMPLEX HEAT PUMP INTO THE DOMESTIC MARKET. THE INSTALLATION TRADITIONS OF THIS RELATIVELY LOW TECHNOLOGY MARKET AND THE NEED TO RETROFIT MANY SYSTEMS MEANS THAT CAREFUL ATTENTION TO CONTROLS IS ESSENTIAL TO ENSURE RELIABLE AND ECONOMICAL OPERATION. CONSIDERS HEAT PUMP CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR THE DOMESTIC MARKET.
