THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE A SIMPLE, EFFICIENT METHOD FOR HEAT SINKING ELECTRICAL LEADS IN A VACUUM CRYOSTAT. THIS METHOD EMPLOYS COMMONLY AVAILABLE MATERIALS. THERMAL CONDUCTANCES AS HIGH AS 20 MILLIW/K WITH AN ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE GREATER THAN 10 MILLIARD OHMS HAVE BEEN MEASURED.
