Summary

The dynamic building thermal analysis program ACCURACY has been enhanced so as to calculate cooling loads and analyse annual energy consumption for rooms with cooled-ceiling climate systems. The program addresses the radiant effects of the ceiling panels on thermal comfort and cooling load dynamics. The program was validated against the measured dynamic response of a test room to step heating and step cooling.
