Summary
For this type of cooling a cryostat-type design is used with thermal barriers between the helium I reservoir (supplied by helium refrigerators or from liquid-helium transport tanks) and the helium II magnetic bath sub-cooled by integrated helium expansion devices and heat exchangers.
