Summary
Example of an air conditioning plant installed in an existing office building where the cooling of air has proved to be necessary mainly because of the presence of large glazed surfaces. The upper floor was air conditioned by terrassed multisplit chilled water units and the other floors by the set-free system manufactured by Hitachi. This system is very easy to install and generates a particularly low noise level. This latest advantage is due to the use of scroll compressors powered by inverters transforming the frequency of the alternating current network (50 hertz) to variable frequency (30 to 90 hertz for refrigeration and up to 115 hertz for heating).
