COINCIDENTAL WITH THE PUBLICATION OF AUSTRALIAN STANDARD AS3666 SEVERAL AUSTRALIAN STATE HEALTH EDICTS HAVE BEEN ISSUED, ALL AIMED AT DISCOURAGING LEGIONNAIRES DISEASE. THE ARTICLE DESCRIBES CHANGES MADE TO A RANGE OF COOLING TOWERS TO COMPLY WITH THESE CODES. THESE INCLUDE REMOVABLE AND CLEANABLE FILL MODULES -IN THIS CASE PACKS OF PLASTIC SHEETS -SLOPED DRAINAGE SUMPS TO PREVENT STAGNATION, AND CLEANABLE DRIFT ELIMINATORS.
