Summary

The paper intends to present a comprehensive summary of the various studies that were conducted with respect to the lubricant influence on refrigerant/oil mixture properties, condensation, and pressure drop, and tries to identify some general relationships. In addition, the research methods and correlations presented on each of these subjects are summarized. Finally, technical recommendations regarding the lubricant influence in each of these aspects are provided in this paper (see also the Bulletin of the IIR, reference 2006-0148).
