Summary

The article gives an overview of recent developments in connection with Croatian negotiations within the framework of the Kyoto Protocol, lead by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Physical Planning. Regardless of the outcome of negociations and conditions that Croatia might perhaps fulfil within the Kyoto Protocol, it has been established that, for the purpose of sustainable development, it is necessary to immediately start implementing measures, especially those with indisputable positive economic and social effects.
