The Kyoto Protocol: regulations that still must be better defined.
Author(s) : BILLIARD F.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The average target reduction in greenhouse-gas emissions of 5.2% may not sound like much, but is, in fact, quite large, in that it corresponds to a reduction of 30% from the emissions that would have been produced in 2010 without any Protocol. To meet this goal, countries are going to have to take measures rapidly. The refrigeration and air-conditioning professions must organize internationally to meet this challenge. There will be many opportunities for doing so. Brief report of the Kyoto conférence.
