Cryogenic design of the tritium source in the KATRIN experiment.
Kryogenes Design der Tritiumquelle im Experiment KATRIN.
Author(s) : GROHMANN S., NEUMANN H.
Summary
The authors describe the design of a system placed at the core of superconducting magnets and through which tritium is carried to the centre. A helium plant cools the magnets. The system is cooled thanks to a boiling neon/argon mixture.
