Summary

THE CURRENT SITUATION IN REFRIGERATED SEA TRANSPORT IN POLAND CAN BE CONSIDERED, IN GENERAL, AS GOOD. MOST OF THE REFRIGERATED-TRANSPORT FLEET CONSISTS OF MODERN SHIPS ABLE TO CARRY OUT THE MOST DIFFICULT TASKS, INCLUDING SERVICING FISHING BOATS. THE POLISH FLEET WILL INCREASE BY 3 LARGE SHIPS BY 1990. THE SHIPS ARE EQUIPPED WITH STATE-OF-THE-ART REFRIGERATING EQUIPMENT, BOTH FOR FREEZING AND FOR STORAGE.
