Desiccant wheel: main component of a desiccant cooling system.
Sorptionsregenerator: Hauptbaustein des SGK-Klimasystems.

Type of article: Article
Summary
In order to minimize the energy consumption of the ordinary cooling process, it is necessary to separate the thermodynamic process of air conditioning into cooling and dehumidification. The desiccant wheel is the most important component of such an air conditioning system called desiccant cooling. Some experimental data are shown for the operation mode dehumidification and enthalpy recovery.
