THE DESIGNER OF A RUN-AROUND COIL SYSTEM IS NORMALLY EXPECTED TO SPECIFY THE TEMPERATURES OF THE SECONDARY FLUID AND ITS RATE OF CIRCULATION. THIS PAPER SUGGESTS A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE RATE OF CIRCULATION AT WHICH THE COST OF THE HEAT EXCHANGERS IS A MINIMUM.
