Summary

THE ANISOTROPY OF EXCESSIVE CONDUCTIVITY IS REVEALED IN THE FLUCTUATION REGION NEAR THE PHASE TRANSITION LINE IN THIN FILMS OF TRANSITION METALS. THE ANISOTROPY IS DUE TO THE NONISOTROPIC ENERGY FLUCTUATION SPECTRUM OF THE ORDER PARAMETER AND IS ESSENTIALLY DEPENDENT ON THE RELATION BETWEEN THE FILM THICKNESS AND COHERENCE LENGTH. THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA ARE IN QUALITATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE FLUCTUATION THEORY FOR THE FILM IN THE PARALLEL FIELD.
