Summary
A methodology has been developed for obtaining new exposure metrics for complex mixtures of VOCs. Using this approach, it has been possible, for the first time, to link SBS irritancy symptoms to low level exposure to VOCs. This new methodology should be useful in efforts to determine the causes of SBS and eliminate this as a barrier to energy efficiency ventilation.
