Summary
FOR MOTOR COMPRESSOR STARTING OF HOME REFRIGERATING MACHINES CURRENT RELAYS OR PTC THERMISTORS, FOR THEIR OVERHEATING PROTECTION BIMETAL SWITCHES ARE APPLIED. SOME PROBLEMS, HOWEVER, HAVE TO BE SOLVED, ESPECIALLY WITH THE CONTACT GRINDER NOISE OF RELAYS. AS RESULTS OF THE RELAY DEVELOPMENT, THEIR RELIABILITY AND LONG-TERM STABILITY COULD BE INCREASED. FOR OVERHEATING PROTECTION, A PTC-THERMISTOR AND STARTER-PROTECTION SWITCH COMBINATION WAS DEVELOPED. (HUNG. R&D ABSTR., HU., 6, N 1, 1990, 203/90.
