Direct convective passive cooling as an energy conserving technique in the maritime desert climate of the Arabian Gulf region.
Author(s) : MOHAMMAD MAQSOOD BAJWA
Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper presents results of first phase of experimentation carried out in a full scale detached experimental house utilizing state of the art passive solar cooling techniques and thermal modelling knowledge built with the locally available materials and technology. Location, sizing and operational modes of the openings for direct convective cooling experimentation were extensively modelled and simulated.
