Summary
The results of two years of a research on the behaviour of peachtrees grown at three different latitudes are reported and discussed. The phenological and physiological observations carried out on cv "Springcrest" (dormancy index, the cold needs and the phenoclimatic models) showed that with present models it appears very difficult to predict the behaviour of the same peach cultivar in different pedoclimatic areas.
