Dynamic simulation of superheat at the evaporator outlet of the air conditioner with inverter.

Author(s) : XIA J., ZHOU X., JIN X., et al.

Summary

The mathematical model is based on mass, momentum and energy conservation with simple assumptions and formulas. Being aware of the response of superheat at the evaporator outlet to the given excitation under various conditions, the static gain and time constant of superheat are derived. The simulation results indicate that both the static gain and time constant of superheat at the evaporator outlet are nonlinear and time-varying. The simulation results conform to the experiments' data very well.
