Dynamic thermal models: reliability for domestic building design.
Author(s) : LOMAS K. J., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper studies the usability and credibility of detailed thermal simulation programs mainly for the design of solar dwellings. The problems for which these programs can and cannot be used, are defined; the ability of the users is also taken in consideration. In good condition these programs can give good results for instance in trends of energy consumption, when building design changes.
