Summary

The article treats with issues about the latest European requirements within the eco-design in relation to the cooling or freezing cabinets, coolers or freezers, units for liquid cooling and condensing units. The presented there issues are also consistent with the provisions of DIRECTIVE 2009/125/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 21 October 2009 establishing a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related products. Also, the article treats with issues about the latest labeling requirements for certain refrigeration equipment presented in COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2015/1094 of 5 May 2015 supplementing Directive 2010/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to the energy labelling of professional refrigerated storage cabinets.
