A GENERALIZED COMPUTER PROGRAMME HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR THE DETERMINATION OF OPTIMUM OPERATING PARAMETERS FOR THE CONVENTIONAL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT AND HYBRID SYSTEM USING EVAPORATIVE COOLING FROM APRIL TO JUNE AND CONVENTIONAL AIR CONDITIONER FROM JULY TO OCTOBER WHEN HUMIDITY IS VERY THE COMPARATIVE RESULTS UNDER OPTIMUM OPERATING CONDITIONS SUPPORTS THAT THERE IS GREAT POTENTIALITY FOR THE USE OF THE HYBRID SYSTEM FROM ENERGY SAVING AS WELL AS ECONOMIC VIEWPOINT.
