THIS PAPER GIVES THE NUMERICAL TEST DATA FOR THE OPTIMUM DESIGN OF COOLERS, DURING WHICH SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES COULD BE OBSERVED IN COLD ROOMS UNDER CONTINUOUS OPERATION AND IN PERIODICALLY OPERATING FREEZERS. SIGNIFICANT CONCLUSIONS ARE DRAWN ON THE DESIGN OF COOLERS AND THEIR SELECTION ACCORDING TO THEIR FIELD OF APPLICATION.
