SIMULATION OF THE THERMAL AND AERODYNAMIC CALCULATION OF AIR COOLERS.

Summary

A METHOD AND A PROGRAMME WERE DEVELOPED FOR THE DIMENSIONING OF HALOCARBON FORCED CONVECTION AIR COOLERS. THEY DETERMINE THEIR GEOMETRIC AND OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS BY VARYING A NUMBER OF PARAMETERS. UNIQUE PROCESSES WERE USED FOR THE CALCULATION OF THE TEMPERATURE OF THE FINNED SURFACE, THE NUMBER OF TUBE ROWS COMPARED TO THE DIRECTION OF AIR CIRCULATION AND THE PARAMETERS OF AIR FLOWING OUT OF THE COOLER.
