THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS STUDY WAS TO EVALUATE THE EFFECT OF AIR TEMPERATURE ON FEED CONSUMPTION OF BROILERS RECEIVING FOUR DIFFERENT RATIONS: SOY BEAN MEAL, MEAT MEAL AND FISH MEAL OR POULTRY BY-PRODUCT SUPPLEMENTED OR NOT WITH LYSINE AND METHIONINE. FEED CONSUMPTION WAS SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECTED BY TEMPERATURE. ON THE AVERAGE EACH DEGREE K OF INCREASE WAS ACCOMPANIED BY A DECREASE IN FEED CONSUMPTION, WHICH WAS DIFFERENT ACCORDING TO THE RATION UTILIZED.
